Is there an alternative way to straighten my hair without a flat iron? My hair normally dries straight till mid length then all the ends stick out, wavy, etc. Sometimes if I have to go run errands after getting my hair wet (shampoo or condition) if I'm outside with the heat in the air and I brush my fingers through it, it dries pretty straight (even the ends).
Is there some sort of non-damaging hair serum, lotion, cream, something that will make it straight?

You can always put on a leave in conditioner or straightening balm and it helps. that is what my mom uses. We have garnier fructis sleek and smooth. It works well and smells so good... plus its cheap. It also works well if you want to blow dry your hair straight.

yes! you go to wall mart or some other store and you buy chemicals to straightin it.most people use it to get a perm out but i just got tired of burning my self with a flat iron and the chemicals worked realy good

Sure ok well if you have a hair spray bottle pour all the stuff thats in there in the sink and fill it with water then sparay it all over your hair and the comb it wat ever way you comp it and thats how it will make it straight

see a hair dresser, but in my opinion, you should get a haircut that not only looks good and you but also compliments your natural hair behavior. this way you won't have to worry about using various grooming tools to have a style like someone else.

try blow drying with a big round brush. when i say big, i mean BIG, you can get a pretty big one at walmart. if you can't find a round brush you like, i suggest a paddle brush. if you don't like flat irons, i would suggest a very large curling iron. and honestly, flat irons aren't bad if you use a good conditioner, and a spray on heat protectant.

This is hard to explain. With a blow dryer on the top layer of your hair, and a brush on the bottom of your hair, slowly pull the brush and the blow dryer down from your scalp to the ends of your hair simultaniously. It should work if you do it right.

you can blowdry chunks of it at a time using a antifriz product. onthe blowdrier, make sure that their is a diffuser attached to it. and buy a brush that is made for blowdrying. Try bed head or redkin products to keep it healty and straight.

the salon will put this stuff in your hair that will totally flatten it out and make it straight... Its stays for months and is amazing!! Ask your hair dresser about it. Good luck!

Hey. No problem! Their lots of stuff to use...my hair dries really wavey sometimes too and I like having it straight. One day I went shopping and came upon some 'Herbal essence Pin stright shampoo%26amp;conditioner) something like that..its in the pink bottle. Its got silk and honeyd pair extract if I remember right. But anyways, I really liked it!!! It made my hair soooo soft and nice and straight and beautiful (usually my hair dries kind of puffy and mangy if I dont blow dry it first) But this stuff rocked!! I reccomend trying it..its about $2.50 a bottle I think.. they also have finishing spray too that I've tried! I reccomend this, but there are also other straightening shampoos and conditioners out there.. I think sun silk has one one too, but what dont they have? lol. Try this, and I hope it works! if your hair gets dry that quick you may need to let your hair relax and maybe put some grease to keep it nutritionized!

There is a straightener that ENJOY makes. It's in a purple bottle and can be purchased at most beauty supply stores. I buy mine at Pure Beauty. It works for me and I have the same problem. You will need to still blow dry your hair cause it tends to make your hair stringy kinda like a gel would if you don't blow out your hair. Hope this helps.
