i bought the box from a salon supply store for like 50 bucks. i thought it was a good deal because it says same brand used in the salon. my sister is a student in beauty school so she helped me to apply it. it was easy to use and i'm certain we did everything right. afterwards, i let my hair air dry to see how well it worked. its definately not curly (i had ringlets) now its more like a wave, but i was hoping to get stick straight results that it promises. the box comes with two applications so i was wondering if i can do it again? or should i go to the salon? are the salon results waay better or is this what i can expect with general thermal straightening? thank you :)
Has anyone done Japanese quantum thermal hair straightening at home? is it comparable to doing it at a salon?
Salon results are better and waaay better for your hair. Plz take my advice and don't do it again it will ruin your hair and it won't be as straight as they do it in the salon, it will still be wavy. I recently got my hair thermally straightened at a salon and it is pin straight! Im so happy with the results thought when I do want to curl my hai its kind of hard to do.

It depends on the brand and quality of it. For best results you should go to a salon and get it done and ask if they have at- home treatments as well.
