i have been using a flat iron with GREAT success...mine is alittle curly...i flat iron one day and it stays that way for days! loving it!

you can also chemically straighten your hair...but WARNING...it can dry your hair a lot...and once it starts growing again, then the roots are wavy while the ends are straight...kind of a scary look.

some would say that using a flat iron will dry your hair out as well...but i have not noticed that on mine at all...as a matter of fact, when i use a flat iron, my hair is AMAZINGLY soft afterwards.

there *are* different kinds of flat irons too...mine has 10 different heat settings...just get one that is hot enough to really straighten it out, but don't leave the flat iron on your hair or you *will* dry it out...the secret is to keep it moving through your hair.

Wat type of Sunsilk is it? I don't know because I had super straight hair and then I used Sunsilk Dandruff for 2 weeks and my hair is kind of wavy and a bit curly. Nothing will actually effect your hair THAT much. Except if you use Sunslik Natural Curling which I doubt u will use. If you use all that stuff for a few years it will sooner or later start getting a bit wavy but... DONT PANIC. Only if you use the EXACT SAME shampoo for a few years.

I have had my hair straightened by a Matrix product and it was wonderful!!! I have VERY stubborn, curly, frizzy hair. I also still used my regular products just dont use them for the first 48 hours and no hair clips or ponytails.
