Hair straightening damage???

I straighten my hair like every day with ghds (which are awesome! =))

I get loaaads of split ends though and was wondering if there is nethin else i can do to reduce the damage it does to my hair.

i always use heat protection spray and when i was my hair i use conditioner..

..Any ideas..? =)

I Have Ghds Too [= They're well Good.

I also straightn my hair every day but i use -

Ghd Heat Protection Spray

Heat Protection Shampoo and Conditioner (You can get that from any department store like Boots or Superdrug)

And When you straighten your hair try not to go over it too may times. Just the once or twice in some places if it really needs it.

Try Havin your hair cut every month to get rid of all the split ends.

if you are using it every day, then there isnt much you can do. it would be common sense that if you did it less often-it would do less damage. but i know how things are and how you like the way it looks.

you might need to get your hair trimmed more often to get rid of those split and dead ends.

all the products in the world will not keep your hair from damage from heat.

when i straighten my hair, i use a smoothing cream (BEDHEAD afterparty)......its awesome-it makes your hair feel like silk and it does hide the split ends.

hi i'm a hairdresser

getting hair cut regulary 4-6 weeks

use a deep conditioner once or twice a week - a reconstructor 1 is good as it helps repair damange done to hair

use a leave in conditioner after shampooing/conditioning hair, this helps detangle hair and add moisture

let hair dry naturally where possible...or leave it to dry until its about 80% dry and then dry it with a hair dryer.

keep using a thermal protection spray and use a serum to help smooth hair after straightening.TIGI after party, TIGI girls toys or TIGI ego boost r good 4 this

and as uve already invested in a good pair of straighteners u shud b ok

i mean have bleached hair, i straightenin my hair with GHD's and yet my hairs in perfect condition and i do all the above to my hair.

Getting hair cut regulary 4-6 weeks

Do not go over your hair more than twice a day with the straigteners ! Wash your hair everyday and condition it too ! Also you can get this cream which you put in your hair before drying your hair ! It is really good it is in a green bottle and you can get it in your hairdressers !
