When you straighten your hair, whats the best way to keep it like that for the rest of the day rather then going kinda wavy? Thanks

before you straighten wash your hair and put in a straigthening lotion then blow dry and straighten..it should help avoid it from going wavy

Use a finishing product - i use a smoothing cream that keeps it in place.

use straightening serum on damp hair, then blow dry straight on hot setting with brush. use straighteners to finish

1. use a shampoo designed for straight hair.

2. use a straightening gel or cream before you blow dry. (not a lot though, or your hair will get gooey)

3. work your hair in really small pieces when you straighten it so you don't miss any clumps of wavy hair underneath.

4. run a smoothing serum over your hair to keep it glossy.

5. run one of those fabric softener sheets that you use in the drier over your hair. (it helps keep your hair smooth and free of static.)

just make sure u dont put a clip or anything that might bind your hair together and when you condition your hair with conditioner in the evening or morning leave it on for about 20min and then rinse it...

There are loads of straightening products out there, hairspray helps loads, but u might need to make the sections u straighten smaller.

I use sunsilk smoothing cream and then blow dry it and then the next morning I straighten it. I don't do this every day though I would fry my hair.
