Reverse chemical hair straightening?

A friend recently straightened her hair (against my recommendation).

She used:

Soft %26amp; Beautiful Just For Me, No-Lye Hair Relaxer Coarse for Children By Proline

Simply because it was on sale.

She does not have coarse or even particularly curly hair.

Now her hair is dead, bodyless, and dull looking.

Any possible way for damage control?

You ca not reverse chemically straighten hair. Once it is in it is in untill it grow out.

First the relaxer she used is not good. I hated Pro-Line Hair care products especially their relaxers. She should of used Dr. Miracles Relaxers or Revlon Realistic Relaxers.

Second once you add a relaxer to your hair you must keep it moisturized. So she needs to add a hair dressing to hair and scalp. For daily shine she can use a spray on oil sheen hair spraylike Isoplus. She can also use Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizing Lotion for daily use. Tell her to use a little every othe day.

She needs to start wet setting her hair and add a setting lotion to give her hair body and roll her hair up.

SHE DOES NOT NEED TO GO TO ANY SALON. THERE IS NO PROBLEM SHE CAN NOT FIX. DO NOT LET THE FIRST ANSWER PANIC YOU. TELL YOUR FRIEND IT IS FIXABLE AT HOME.

Tell her to go to a hairdresser NOW.

In the meantime, deep condition. Use lots of leave-in conditioner, etc.
