Well, I just started straightening my hair with a hair iron or whatever you want to call it, but it takes to much time, and I can't use it after I get out of the shower because my hair will start to steam, :-(. Are there any other methods of doing it?

i blow dry my hair using a heat protection lotion, then i straighten, using a paddle brush helps to keep it straighter too. you can finish it off with palmade.

You can get it chemicly straitened... (sometimes it doesnt work and it can fry your hair)

This is what i do...

I either shower at night or I blow dry my hair. Then i spray on heat protector... ( it helps big time with split ends which straitning causes). I then start with the bottom layer of hair and straiten that and work my way up.

You will get faster at doing your hair the more you do it.

what kind of hair do you have? It depends. I personally love love love this product called Phytodefrisant, it's kinda hard to find, but it works really well and is a little pricey. There's also a similar product that works well from John Frieda frizz-ease called wind-down that you can probably grab at CVS or a similar drug store. Just wash your hair, put one of those products in it, blow dry it and *then* use the straightening iron. Then finish it off with a finishing product or like a gloss product. You should *never* use a straighening iron straight out of the shower, unless it specifically says "wet to dry straightener". I'm sorry to say this, but, it *will* take a long time... it sucks, but all for the sake of looking good, right? Hope that helps...
