I wouldn't say your hair is going to grow thicker. I don't think there could be any possible supporting research for this. But over time, if your hair is healthy and you aren't breaking the hairs (which your straighter does thats why people have hairs sticking up all over the place) then it probably will appear fuller.

Well Maybe cause your Not damaging it and creating split ends but wat you should do is at night put your hair into 2 braids and sleep like that ..thats what i heard makes your hair grow..

I've found that my hair grows quicker when I straighten it and its so much easier to tame. Make sure you prep your hair really well so that you can minimize the heat damage. I have about 2 or 3 products that I alternate between when I get ready to straighten my hair.
