What do you think of straightening hair?

A lot of people tell me no guys don't mind as long as it looks good on you. I don't know if that's true or not. I use to straighten my hair a lot but now i just wear it naturaly or straighten it every now and then. What is the first thing a person thinks when they see a person with their hair straightened? i know your probably thinking how can i tell if they straighten their hair or not. U can definetley tell because it looks fried. thanks in advance!

I think it looks nicer more natural. Like straightening it once in a while is nice, but SO bad for your hair. And when u straighten it u feel u have to do it all the time. Natural hair has more bounce and vivacity.

there are some really good ceramic straighteners that make your hair look naturally silk straight, but youll have to pay about 100 for it. in my experience, guys like straight hair

You have choices today sistergirl... wear it straight one day, in a french roll the next, try braids on occasion or be like me and "lock" it. Whatever you do.. do it for yourself and don't base it on what another person thinks of it.

What you should do if you straighten your hair is use a protecting gel so your hair does not get "fried" when you use so much heat on it. When you staighten your hair it should look as natural as possible. If your hair is frizzy or does wierd things when it dries like flip or curl in wierd ways, then yeah you should straighten it. I have naturally completly straight hair that will NOT curl no matter how hard I try, and I love the look of curly hair. Sometimes curly hair looks better on some people than others. I think curly or wavy hair is more elegant for more formal occasions, and I think its great you sometimes straighten it and other times leave it natural, that way your hair dosent look the same every day. Play with what works best for what you look like or what your doing that day and you will look great no matter what!
